Top ranked Junior in Alberta Canada
Amy Beth Simanton, a client of Jerry Mowlds, just won the Oregon Amateur at Bandon Dunes....She beat Kendra Little in the finals, at 17 one of the youngest winners ever....The scores were high as they played in very high winds everyday....Amy Beth will attend UC Davis in the fall with a full golf scholarship, she has been the runner-up the past two years in the state HS finals....A nice win for her...
Taylor Babcock, qualified and won two matches before being ousted... Taylor will attend Barry University in Miami this fall and play for Patti Rizzo's well regarded golf team..
Hans Reimers won two matches also, he is headed for the University of Portland this fall, he has improved rapidly...
Blake Jones, a senior to be at Camas HS, was a factor on their team which took second in the state finals, he finished 4th individually...
